Part C: applying the sociology (word count: 2000)

In  this  section  you  need  to  draw  on  two  of  the  5  sociological concepts  you  have  been  introduced  to  in  the  module  [production, reproduction, consumption, community and social capital] and apply them to the place where you live.

You must ensure that you demonstrate that you understand the concepts  as  well  as  being  able  to  apply  them.  The  discussion needs  to  be  as  full  as  the  word  limit  allows  and  the  two  concepts need to be dealt with in equal depth, but combined into one essay. In the application of the concepts to where you live (Avondale Road, Wolverhampton, WV9 0QQ), you may refer to  some  of  your  photographs  and  statistical  data  in  Parts  A&B,  to provide evidence to support the discussion.(I have included a completed part A & B at the end for reference in case you need to used it as mentioned here)

This is an essay and should be  written  (ideally)  in  an impersonal style. An example could be: The concepts which will be applied to Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton are Community and Social Capital (or whatever  two  concepts  you  are  choosing  to apply) ...
