ASSESSMENT STRUCTURE

This is a group assessment. You will work in small groups over several weeks to critically investigate, analyse and evaluate two organisation-specific case studies and then prepare a report with specific recommendations as prospective leaders/managers for the better leadership/managerial outcomes of the case organisations.

Your analysis and reflections will be focused on a case study from each of the following topics:

  • Section 1: Individual input and process; Group dynamics in the contemporary workplace
  • Section 2: Organisational leadership, process and outcomes.

You need to select one case study from each section (two in total). See the list of case studies here opens in new window.

IMPORTANT: Research & referencing

In your final report, you are expected to use Harvard style in-text citations, as well as include a reference list. Check out the page on Harvard referencing & academic integrity opens in new window to build your skills in formatting and ensure you maintain academic integrity.
