Aim
This assignment is designed to foster students’ understanding of contemporary supply chain issues and concepts. This is achieved by asking students to read given readings/case studies and answer a set of questions designed to challenge their critical thinking capability. Answers to all the questions should total about 1500 (+/- 10%) words. Emphasis is placed on demonstrating an ability to link concepts introduced in the course (specific topic/s) to the description/scenario provided in the given reading/case study to demonstrate understanding and application.
Assessment Task
In tutorial sessions, several readings/case studies will be discussed and analysed. Some of these readings/cases will be part of Assessment 3. In addition, another new reading/case study, which will be part of Assessment 3, will be provided at the end of Week 12 (Friday 13 October 2023).

The expected length of your answers is 1500 (+/- 10%) words in total and the reference list and figures/ diagrams will not be counted in the word count.
This task is to be completed as an individual submission. The due date of this assignment is Friday 27 October 2023, 23:59 AEST.
Assessment criteria
1. Answers to each question will carry 30% (Total 90%). Your answer to each question will be marked based on the following criteria:
- Strength of the logic supporting your arguments;
- Comprehensiveness of the answers provided; and
- Ability to draw on concepts introduced in this course.
2. Clairy of writing (10%).
