Behavior Change Assessment
Health is an essential part of our life but in hurdle life sometimes we are unable to concentrate on our health and we can become unhealthy. So, it is necessary for every person to maintain their health physically as well as mentally. I am a student and doing work to live a comfortable life and manage my expenses here. But even sometimes I had seen those days when I was so, busy, and I have no time to take care of myself and I became so, unhealthy. Thus, I think that everybody should make a health action plan and follow it as well to be health conscious. I have set so, me targets to stay fit which I will tell you in the following paragraph.

Target Behaviors: My target behaviors are given below:
1. Healthy food choices
2. Walk in the early morning
3. Less use of sugar
4. Study hard to achieve goals
5. Exercise daily
But my first priority is to choose healthy food items which are the main part to feel us healthy because I notice myself sometimes, I chose the healthy foodstuff but indirectly that was unhealthy for me. such as unhealthy foods which include hydrogenated vegetable oils increase the risk of heart disease, high amounts of calories, sodium, and saturated fat may harmful, high-fat products increase the chances of obesity. In short, these types of foodstuff have become a danger for my health which I can not tolerate. So, this is my major concern overall through this health action plan except for others. Because if I will stay healthy then I can achieve my other targets otherwise it is impossible to do that.
So, it is very hard for me to do some improvements in this behavior because due to my busy schedule maybe I will not be able to get enough time to make my food at home. So, before going to work then I eat fast food only which is very unhealthy. As well as, I am a pure vegetarian because I belong to Sikhism so, everything here in Canada is non- vegetarian so, it is very hard for me to eat on time. so, maybe these kinds of problems I have to face while changing the behavior.
Establishing Baseline
So, I have selected to follow a better diet plan instead of unhealthy food. So,, I would talk about the baseline frequency of this behavior, I started to look at this behavior from the last week, then I felt that I have really an unhealthy eating habit. On the first day of the week, I did not eat anything because I was so, busy with my work. But for the next day, I eat a little bit healthy because my friend offers me to eat so, me food at home. As well as for the next two days Wednesday and Thursday I have an exam and work both at the same time. that why I was really unable to take a healthy diet as well as I was not able to take a good sleep for these two days. In these 48 hours, I did not drink the required amount of water. On the first day I eat only the junior chicken after that I ate only one sandwich. But the next morning, I came home and ate the noodles made by myself. S0, for the remaining days, I was following the same type of unhealthy diet. So, in the below graph, I have tried to represent the diet plan for last week.
In this graph, we can see that at the starting of the month I was not able to pay attention to eat properly especially at the starting of the week but at the end of the week I was able to eat healthy food.

History
So, as I motioned above paragraphs, this behavior is not good for my self. So, the consequences of these behaviors could be harmful. So, I would like to change this behavior. Sometimes when I have alone at work or somewhere else, then I feel that I should change my behavior but I become able to follow my diet only for one or two days, not more than 3 days, because I got busy in the work and the assignment. So, after taking this course, I started to follow this schedule and I am getting success to achieve this goal because right now I am in the initial stage because just a week ago I started to follow a good and healthy style and I am getting the good result from this healthy diet because whenever I do work the in short time I get tired but I can work for a long time without any break. So, that’s why I want to change this bad habit. Moreover, I know sometimes due to busy life forget to take breakfast or lunch which leads to overeating in the late night, and I feel tired the whole day as well which also, makes difficulties to give 100% efforts in the school performance.
Importance of changing This behavior
I know sometimes due to busy life forget to take breakfast or lunch which leads to overeating in the late night, and I feel tired in the whole day as well which also, makes difficulties to give 100% in the school performance. Besides this, I consumed many calories at a time what should I consumed in a day. So, to reduce these kinds of unhealthier diet I have established some strategies which I followed w to live a health-conscious life.
I considered that I improved myself a lot in comparison to past days. Such as, as I said above, I was overeating when I did not eat anything for the whole day. The reason behind this is that I had no proper schedule at that time but now I maintain my health according to schedule which I made for me to keep myself health conscious. I came to know about I am doing best when I compared my current healthy food choices with the starting one. At that time, I had not much knowledge about how I can make a person strong physically and mentally. But now I know, I eat and how much portion it should be. How many calories healthy products should I buy? I also, searched a lot of websites that give me information about tasty recipes and oil.
The two below mentioned link of a file is totally matching with my behavior assignment that I have took from the college library.
