Assessment Task AT1 Reflect on 2 current or emerging early childhood issues or practice

Task overview:

This assessment requires the student to identify 2 current issues within the education sector. Once the student has identified each of the issues they will complete a report containing the following information: 

• For each issue an article has been located and included in the report.
• A summary of each issue has been provided and supported by a discussion about what each article says in relation to the issue
• The student has discussed their perspective about the issue and how they feel it is relevant to the education sector.
• The legal and ethical considerations are discussed and there are links to the National Quality Standards and the Frameworks.
• A list of potential resources or networking groups that could support educators with the issue have been identified and discussed.
