Task:

To give you some guidance with undertaking the research assessment, please see some notes below.

1. Start with a structure (discuss it) that you want to use to balance out the three factors when you are thinking about business  (e.g. Shared Value or Value Triangle). 
2. Describe and understand how ethics (behaviour and frameworks), sustainability (social sustainability, environmental sustainability, and economic sustainability factors plus refer to the UN 17 Development Goals ), and profit (value and economic factors) aspects apply to the model when considering a business application and then refer to your industry. How should they be planned for and applied?
3. Use industry examples and discuss how they have and/or have not applied the balance between the three factors. 
4. What are your key findings?
5. What are your recommendations in terms of the business activity in your industry - how and why should they begin to apply the balance between the three factors?
