Describe your reasons why you designed each of your activities in Assessments 1 and 2 as you did. In your answer, consider the ways that you introduced the grammar points, the examples that you chose, whether you introduced the grammar point either directly or indirectly, the extent and types of details that you provided, the ways in which you structured the student learning. Critique your activities. In your answer, consider what you thought was more/least effective and why you thought this way. You may use first person ("I") in your writing. What does your design of your activities and your critique of them tell you about your own ideologies about grammar and how it should be taught? You may discuss your understandings and views about your activities that you did with your partners in Assessment Task 2. However, each of you should write your response to this activity individually. Do not share your writing with your partners. Refer to the literature on the different approaches to support your arguments. You should use the main set text (Christison and Murray) and find other relevant and recent Journal articles or book chapters to contribute to your discussion. A list of references should be provided at the end of your writing.
