You will develop a recruitment and selection package for a specific role in a real-world organisation. You will formulate appropriate recruitment strategy (and advertisement), design the selection process and determine the most appropriate selection methods to be used for a specific position (e.g., what selection tools will be used and at what stage in the process will they be used?). You will develop several critical pieces of documentation to support your selection process (i.e., key selection criteria, advertisement, and a complete interview guide).
The completed product should look like a manual that the organisation could use – it explains the overall strategy and key steps in the process. The supporting materials, such as the interview guide, should be “ready for use” by the organisation. The completed product will demonstrate your understanding of key concepts covered in the unit.
