Decision making is the method of classifying and choosing from different possible outcomes of a problem conferring to the demands of the condition. Such as, the decision-making process in the field of vendor contracting which may deal with how to provide a service, who will get the contract, how to make sure that a contractor meets its duties, or either to pay the worker in big or small bills (Al-Tarawneh, p. 2, 2012). Decision-making sometimes refers to as the heart of the administration process (Mann, 1976 as cited in Al-Tarawneh, p. 2, 2012). The decision-making process can differentiate among two kinds of theories that are riskless choice and risky choice. The riskless choice theory was originated by Jeremy Bentham and James Mill for the concept of utility maximization. The risky choice concept addresses decision making in the face of doubt about the events that regulate the results of an individual’s actions (Slovic, p. 364, 1995). The risky choice theory was formed on the bases of Bayesian rules which were introduced by Thomas Bayes. It is a strong implication instrument used in statistics, machine learning, software engineering, artificial intelligence, and many more (Galak, p. 6, 2010).
Personality addresses different characteristics among people regarding their behavior, feelings, and perception. It is normally divided into many elements known as Big Five that are openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Natural reactions (Dehghanan, Abdollah & Rezaei, p. 1279, 2014). According to my Big Five Personality test, the elements ranging from top to bottom are Natural Reactions, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion and Openness to experience. The percentile of Natural Reaction is in a high range which means that I can work in pressure and stressful situations as well as I do not get upset easily. The percentile for Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Extraversion are in the middle range. This means that I am skeptical and strong-headed for the trait of Agreeableness. I am also reserved and prefer working in a quiet environment for the characteristic of Extraversion. For the trait of Conscientiousness, I am disorganized but can be flexible. For Openness to Experiences I am a traditionalist. After the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator, my type is ISFJ which means Introversion + Sensing + Feeling + Judging. According to the Module given, I make decisions hastily and find ways to complete the decision in a short amount of time. When that the task assigned to me is doable and I know I can perform well so then I complete the task quickly not thinking about the consequences. As my personality trait is that I like to work in a quiet environment which helps me to complete the task before the due date and noisy environment is a hindrance in getting a task done on time.
