PART D – Role Play: Develop Professional Development Plan

TASK:

In this task, you will be attending a professional development meeting with Gavin, role played by your assessor for the purpose of this task. The assessor will organise a time and date for the meeting, which can be conducted in person or via video-conferencing.
You will need to bring your completed self-evaluation form developed in Part B of this assessment task.
With the assessor, you are to agree on professional development that you should undertake for the year and document this within the Professional Development Plan. You should discuss and review the self-evaluation form that you have completed, and then use the internet or other appropriate resources to determine
appropriate personal/professional development activities in consultation with the assessor that can be used to improve your emotional intelligence. You should take into account the feedback of the assessor to your chosen activities, and there must be at least three development activities that you should undertake with specification for each on:
The timeline to complete the development activity
How it will be evaluated
How achievement will be confirmed
